Candidates must have training and research/teaching experience in bioarchaeology, plus expertise in archaeology method and theory. Background in human variability or historical archaeology is a plus. Research and geographic areas are open, but should complement
current faculty. Candidates shall demonstrate excellence in teaching and advising. Teaching duties include an upper division/graduate bioarchaeology course (i.e., study of human skeletal remains in archaeological contexts), plus upper-division/graduate courses in the candidate's areas of interest and established courses ranging from lower- to upper-division and graduate levels. Candidates must have a PhD before August 2008.
