The Multidisciplinary drifting Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate (MOSAiC) was an international, interdisciplinary Arctic scientific expedition that drifted across the central Arctic from autumn 2019 to autumn 2020. About three years after the MOSAiC expedition, thousands of datasets are publicly available, more than 100 scientific publications are published, and many more are in progress. Various groups and science communities are working in the MOSAiC context, addressing many disciplinary and interdisciplinary themes and enabling model assessment and advancement.
The 3rd International MOSAiC Science Conference will support scientific exchange on MOSAiC science towards the larger goal of a "Transition to Sustained Arctic System Science." The conference will include a combination of plenary presentations, scientific sessions, a poster session, many targeted discussions, and early-career activities. New colleagues and communities are welcome to participate in and contribute to the conference.
